RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVAL OF CHANGE ORDER NO. 2, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ITEM
NO. 11 , CONCERNING THE WELD COUNTY LIBRARY.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 concerning the Weld County
Library was presented to the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado for approval, and
WHEREAS, said Change Order concerns the following items :
1. Planter backs $ 165.00
2. Roof expansion joints 1,012.00
3. Water line to restrooms 775 .00
4 . Extra door at workroom 500 .00
Add for deadbolt not included in quote 21. 00
5. Three Detex door alarms 403 . 15
6. 10 ' of plugmold on separate circuit 184 . 80
7. Duplex outlets on two columns 275 .00
8. Power poles in adult library 206 .80
9 . Mechanical room stairs 100 .00
10 . New locks set for main door at garage 64 . 00
(heavy duty)
11. Rework ramp at main entrance 1,600 .00
12 . Quote for adding handrails at garage 2 ,628.00
per B-R drawing
WHEREAS, the Board, after studying the abovementioned items,
deems it advisable to approve said Change Order with the exception
of Item No. 11, and
WHEREAS, it is the Board's feeling that it is the responsi-
bility of the architects to be aware of federal regulations as
they pertain to public buildings and therefore, it would not be
appropriate for the County to bear the expense for Item No. 11
(rework ramp at main entrance) as it did not meet 504 Regulations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Weld County, Colorado that Change Order No. 2 concerning
the Weld County Library be, and hereby is, approved excluding
Item No. 11.

and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 10th day of
October, A.D. , 1979 .
