Bids were received and opened on February 4,2016 for EMC ApplicationXtender
Maintenance. Five bids,from four different vendors,were received ranging from
$23,340.98 to$82,603.97. Attached is the bid tabulation for your information.
The Information Technology staff reviewed all of the bids. GTRI proposed the lowest
cost for maintenance at$23,340.98. GTRI utilizes a pass-thru support model directly
to EMC,the software manufacturer. In GTRI's bid response,they quoted,"EMC
Enhanced Support." For hardware support,this is next business day. For software
support,this is 24x7 remote support,with a one hour response time for critical issues.
With the above information,I recommend the board award the EMC ApplicationXtender
Maintenance to GTRI for a total amount of$23,340.98.
