RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Planning Commission, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Cherilyn Barringer be appointed to said board
as the District 4 representative, to replace Nicholas Berryman, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Tom Cope be appointed to said board as the
At -Large representative, to replace Benjamin Hansford.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Cherilyn Barringer and Tom Cope, be, and hereby are, appointed to the
Planning Commission, both with terms to expire July 31, 2019.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 1st day of August, A.D., 2016.
