RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO REGIONAL
COMMUNICATIONS ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Regional Communications Advisory Board,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Ken Poncelow, be reappointed to said Board
as Police Chief At-Large, and both Tom Beach and Ted Posyzywak, be reappointed as Fire Zone
South representatives, and it is recommended that James Dilka, be appointed to fill the balance
of Scott Wagner's term as Fire Zone North representative with a term to expire January 31, 2016,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint James Dilka to said board, and
reappoint Ken Poncelow, Tom Beach, and Ted Posyzywak, all with terms to expire January 31,
2018.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Ken Poncelow, Tom Beach, and Ted Posyzywak, be, and hereby are,
reappointed and that James Dilka be appointed to the Regional Communications Advisory
Board, all with terms to expire as stated above.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 25th day of January, A.D., 2016.
