Subject: Fureverdog Rescue
Hi my name is Joe Grassi and I am a resident in Aristocrat Acres. I have done some work at Fureverdog Rescue in putting in a doggie door
at the residence. I have provided some ideas on how to finish the kennel. I hopefully will be providing assistance in the future as a
handyman at the Rescue. My family has been at the rescue to check out some of the dogs and they seemed to be well cared for and shown
loving attention.
I believe that the rescue would be a great service to both the city and the residents of this community. It would be a good opportunity to
teach the kids in the community how to care for dogs by volunteering to walk and play with the rescue dogs.
My family would like to see this rescue become part of our community and be successful in helping as many dogs as possible.

Subject: Fureverdog rescue
I adopted a dog from fureverdog Rescue on 12/22/2016.
I have been searching for a dog that had the personallity to be a Service dog for my daughter for several months.
I became aware of fureverdog rescue through a Facebook group, and scheduled a time to meet the dogs living
there.
When I arrived, after driving from basically Jefferson County ( though I live in Adams county), the residence
was clean and did not have the smell of animals like some animal shelters do. I brought my young children with
me to help ensure that if we adopted, the dog was well behaved with children. We meet and greeting all the
dogs and I watched how the dogs interacted with us and each other.
We spent about three hours at this rescue, and having one on one play time with the two dogs we liked. I
eventually settled on our dog Mina, who was Nina at this Rescue. I spoke at length with Debbie about Nina and
her behaviors seen while at the rescue. Our adopted Mina is everything Debbie said she was. I don't think we
would have had such a wonderful easy transition with Mina if she had been any where else. It has been proven
that dogs in private rescues or in a foster home do so much better and have a hire rate of success in their new
homes. And have lower rates of being returned to the shelters.
1
Debbie has done a wonderful job with our Mina and we are just absolutely greatful that we were able to see her
in a home environment before bringingher home with us.
And I would recommend this Rescue to anyone who wants to adopt a dog into their home.
Sincerely,
Rose Marie Lambert
