RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENT TO 911 EMERGENCY
TELEPHONE SERVICE AUTHORITY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the 911 Emergency Telephone Service Authority
Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Benito Garcia be appointed to said board to
replace Brian Skaggs, and to reappoint Mark Jones to said board as the City of Greeley Appointee
representative, both with terms to expire January 9, 2018.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Benito Garcia be, and hereby is, appointed, and that Mark Jones be and
hereby is, reappointed to the 911 Emergency Telephone Service Authority Board, both with terms
to expire January 9, 2018.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 28th day of March, A.D., 2016.
