RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO WELD FAITH
PARTNERSHIP COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Weld Faith Partnership Council, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Kim Parker be appointed to said board to
replace Trevor Collins as a representative, with a term to expire November 1, 2018, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended to reappoint Robert Thomas and Joe Soto, to
said board, both with terms to expire November 1, 2018, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to make the aforementioned appointments
and reappointments to said board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that aforementioned persons be, and hereby are, appointed and
reappointed to the Weld Faith Partnership Council, with their respective terms to expire on
November 1, 2018.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 11th day of January, A.D., 2016.
