RE: APPROVE REAPPOINTMENTS AND APPOINTMENTS TO BUILDING TRADES
ADVISORY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exists on the Building Trades Advisory Committee, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended, and the Board deems it advisable that Landon
Cogburn be reappointed to said board as the Cement Contractor, and that Chad Sanger be
reappointed to said board as the Weld County Home Builders representative, both with terms to
expire April 10, 2018.
WHEREAS, it has been recommended, and the Board deems it advisable that Eric
Wernsman be appointed as the Small Independent General Contractor representative, replacing
Robert Coon, with a term to expire April 10, 2017; and that Kevin Pagel be appointed as the Large
Independent General Contractor representative, replacing Bo Winter, with a term to expire
April 10, 2019; and that Matt Wagy be appointed as the Plumbing Contractor representative,
replacing Thomas Ladd, with a term to expire April 10, 2017; and that Jerry Lemons be appointed
as the Heating Contractor representative, replacing Dusty Rhodes, with a term to expire April 10,
2019; and that Jason Baker be appointed as the Electrical Contractor representative, replacing
Richard Spitler, with a term to expire April 10, 2017.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Landon Cogburn and Chad Sanger be reappointed; and that Eric
Wernsman, Kevin Pagel, Matt Wagy, Jerry Lemons, and Jason Baker be, and hereby are,
appointed to the Building Trades Advisory Committee, all with terms to expire as stated above.
