Bids were received and opened on November 13, 2015 for RFP B1500175, Video
Surveillance Solution. Nine (9) bids were received for 1 year cost ranging from
$39,184.00 to $91,252.40. For 5 years cost the bids range from $39,184.00 to
$157,725.13. Three RFP responses were disqualified for an incomplete bid or for not
meeting RFP requirements. Attached is the bid tabulation for your information.
The Information Technology staff has reviewed all of the bid responses. Of the qualified
responses, Venture Technologies from Englewood, CO proposed the lowest cost
solution of$49,532.90 and meets the needed functionality documented in the bid
process.
Based on the above information, I recommend the board award B1500175, Video
Surveillance Solution to Venture Technologies, for the one year cost of$49,532.90.
Three RFP responses were disqualified due to not being able to meet the below RFP
requirement. This requirement is essential for the solution to work with our existing
infrastructure.
Server Specifications
SS-02 Integration with EMC Isilon NAS via CIFS protocol is required.
