RE: APPROVE QUIT CLAIM DEED AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN - CITY OF
GREELEY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Quit Claim Deed from the County of
Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, to
the City of Greeley, commencing October 3, 2016, with further terms and conditions being as
stated in said quit claim deed for the real property described below with all appurtenances,
All of the real property described as Lot 2 of the Greeley Saddle Club Subdivision,
according to the plat thereof recorded in the Office of the Weld County Clerk and
Recorder on January 26, 2016, at Reception Number 4176309; and Lot 5 of the
Geisert Pit Subdivision, according to the plat thereof recorded in the Office of the
Weld County Clerk and Recorder on May 11, 2016, at Reception Number
4202711.
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said quit claim deed, a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Quit Claim Deed from the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and
through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, to the City of Greeley, be and
hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said quit claim deed.

QUIT CLAIM DEED
This deed is a conveyance from the COUNTY OF WELD ("the County"), a political subdivision
of the State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of the County of
Weld, whose address is 1150 O Street, P.O. Box 758, Greeley, Colorado 80632, to the CITY OF
GREELEY ("the City"), a municipal corporation of the State of Colorado.
The County, for consideration, the receipt and adequacy of which is hereby acknowledged,
conveys to the City, its successors and assigns forever, whatever right, title, interest, claim, and
demand the County has in and to the real property described below, with all appurtenances.
All of the real property described as Lot 2 of the Greeley Saddle Club Subdivision,
according to the plat thereof recorded in the Office of the Weld County Clerk and
Recorder on January 26, 2016, at Reception Number 4176309; and Lot 5 of the
Geisert Pit Subdivision, according to the plat thereof recorded in the Office of the
Weld County Clerk and Recorder on May 11, 2016, at Reception Number 4202711.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I, Mike Freeman, Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners
of said County of Weld, State of Colorado, on behalf of said County and by virtue of the Order
contained in the Resolution made by said Board of County Commissioners on the 3rd day of
October, 2016, have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said County this 3rd day of
October, 2016, for the uses and purposes therein set forth.
