RE: Hudson Fire Protection District (HFPD) bid# B1600168 for two (2) CNG bi-fuel
turnkey Full Size 4X4 SUV's and bid # B1600167 one (1) turnkey CNG bi-fuel 4X4 3/a ton,
crew cab, long box pick-up truck.

This letter is to approve the bid submitted by John Elway Chevrolet, 5200 S. Broadway,
Englewood, Colorado 80113 in the amount of $103,224.00 for two (2) 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe's
CNG bi-fuel full size 4X4 SUV's for bid #B1600168.
Let this letter also serve as notice of the approved bid submitted by Auto Nation Ford Littleton,
8252 S. Broadway, Littleton, Colorado 80122 in the amount of $43,808.00 for one 2017 Ford F-
250, 4X4 CNG bi-fuel crew cab pickup with 8' bed for bid #B1600167.
After reviewing all of the bids submitted; the proposal from John Elway Chevrolet was the only
bid submitted and is acceptable to the HFPD. The proposal from John Elway Chrysler Dodge
Jeep Ram was non -compliant in the G.W.R. All other areas of the bid were according to
specification. With the minimum specification G.W.R. not meeting the rating of 10,000 lbs. this
disqualifies John Elway Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram from the process. The next lowest bid
came from Auto Nation Ford Littleton and is acceptable to the HFPD.
The Hudson Fire Protection District agrees to pay the matching amount for the grant of $31,513
for three (3) vehicles.
Please order these vehicles from John Elway Chevrolet and Auto Nation Ford Littleton as soon
as possible.
