USR15-0073, FOR MINERAL RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT FACILITIES, INCLUDING
AN OIL AND GAS SUPPORT AND SERVICE FACILITY (STORAGE OF FRAC TANKS)
IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT— MILLER HFI, LLC
A public hearing was conducted on February 24, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner Mike Freeman, Chair
Commissioner Sean P. Conway, Pro-Tern
Commissioner Julie A. Cozad
Commissioner Barbara Kirkmeyer- EXCUSED
Commissioner Steve Moreno
Also present:

Planning Services Department representative, Chris Gathman
The following business was transacted:
• I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated January 14, 2016, and duly published
January 19, 2016, in the Greeley Tribune, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request
of Miller HFI, LLC, for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit,
USR15-0073, for Mineral Resource Development Facilities, including an Oil and Gas Support and
Service Facility (storage of frac tanks) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. Bob Choate, Assistant
County Attorney, made this a matter of record.
• Chris Gathman, Department of Planning Services, explained the need for the continuance
as the case was unable to be presented to Planning Commission on February 2, 2016, because
of County closure due to inclement weather. This application has been rescheduled to be heard
at Planning Commission on February 23, 2016; therefore, staff is requesting the case be
continued to March 16, 2016, to allow the applicant time to present to Planning Commission.
El No public testimony was offered concerning this matter.
• Commissioner Cozad moved to continue the request of Miller HFI, LLC, for a Site Specific
Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit, USR15-0073, for Mineral Resource
Development Facilities, including an Oil and Gas Support and Service Facility (storage of frac
tanks) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, to March 16, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. The motion was
seconded by Commissioner Moreno, and it carried unanimously. There being no further
discussion, the hearing was completed at 10:04 a.m.
