We take pride in the way we conduct business and we strive to find new technologies to improve our operations. Noble Energy, Inc. is proposing a produced water treatment facility in unincorporated Weld County near the northwest corner of Weld County Roads 106 and 119. This proposed facility has the capability of recycling 84 million gallons of water per year. This particular project is recognized by the COGCC as one with statewide significance for water conservation. We are working closely with the State of Colorado and will be submitting a Use by Special Review application to Weld County Planning for a water recycling facility. The intended location is north of the right of way for Weld County Road 106 and approximately `/ mile west of Weld County Road 119. Water used at our oil wells in the area will be trucked to this new facility. Once at the facility, trucks will unload the water and the water will be cleaned. Clean water will then be piped to be reused at the oil pads. This facility has been engineered to accept produced water from a maximum of 85 trucks per day. Currently, Noble Energy, Inc. takes our produced water to a disposal well up to 10 miles away in these same trucks. Having this location central to our operations will reduce truck traffic, reduce water that is injected into disposal wells, and increase the reuse of water through recycling.
