Due to weather conditions that could be a problem on Tuesday and some
family members with some medical issues I may not be able to attend
the hearing.
The permit USR 15-0059 seems to be addressing near every thing. I do
have concerns that any fluids will ever be allowed to flow at any time
from the site. Water or anything at any time. Not being an engineer
1 do not know that the containment areas are designed to retain all
run off at all times.
Once again I will have concerns about any fluids flowing into ditches
along the property,be it ditches on Weld County road 86 or Weld
County road 115. I will remind all that any thing flowing from the
property will eventually get into the Pawnee Creek area and it's
drainage.
The comments on the Weld County Roads,86 and 115 are somewhat short
sited. These roads are not in good shape . With the gravel pit
traffic,tankers and existing oil field traffic is there going to be
any improvements on the dust that now exist let alone the rough
surface conditions ? This not entirely the permit holders problem,
but none the less is a problem. When the road or traffic study was
done is in question.
The discussion of turn lanes will not be addressed seriously until
there is more interest in public safety.
