WHEREAS, pursuant to law, the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, is vested with the
responsibility of administering the affairs of Weld County,
Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the 1973 Federal-Aid Highway
Act, the procedure for establishing boundaries for urban
areas of over 5000 population has been modified, and
WHEREAS, by resolution dated December 31, 1975, the
Board, upon determination that it would be desirous and in
the best interest of the County, property defined and estab-
lished the urban area of the City of Greeley, Colorado, thus
providing increased flexibility to various federally aided
highway programs having direct reference to said urban area,
and
WHEREAS, the 1976 Urban Systems Program calls for
the completion of the following projects:
M8219 (0) 35th Avenue, 4th Street to U. S. 34 By
Pass - Greeley (Preliminary Engineering and Envi-
ronmental Impact Statements)
M8208 (1) 20th Street from west urban boundary
to 28th Avenue - Greeley (Preliminary Engineering
and Environmental Impact Statements)
M8200 (3) Greeley (intersection signalization)
M8201 (1) Box Culvert on Evans town ditch at 37th
Street - Evans
and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board that
it would be in the best interest of the County to approve
the projects hereinabove mentioned.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of
County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that the here-
inabove mentioned projects relating to the 1976 Urban Systems
Program for the City of Greeley, Colorado, be, and the same
are hereby approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion
duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote this
18th day of February, 1976.
