It would be completely remiss of me if I didn't hassle you with one more email before the holidays! Thank you for all the
time, work, effort and tremendous stress you and your teams have put into serving the residents of Weld County. In no
way did I ever feel any of you or your teams were incompetent. I know how understaffed and overwhelmed all of you are
with the growth and complexities of this county. I also realized the shell game that was being played the first time I
attended a Community Meeting with Heartland. There was a calculated reason for every move this company made and I
applaud all of you for doing your job when it came to light. In this case, the company tied your hands, and after giving
them every chance and costing the residents of Weld County immeasurable expense you made the only decision that you
could under Weld County rules. As it should be.... 120+ years of loyal Weld County residents applaud each and everyone
of you! You did the job as required. If you saw the neighbors hugging..it was not in celebration, it was in desperation and
wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. We know this is far from over. I wanted to wish you all a wonderful holiday season.
Enjoy your families ' and friends and everything that comes with this wonderful time of year. Please pass this on to
