RE: APPROVE REAPPOINTMENT OF MIKE FREEMAN TO FEDERAL MINERAL LEASE
DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Federal Mineral Lease District Board of
Directors, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Weld County Commissioner Mike Freeman
be reappointed to said board, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Weld County Commissioner Mike
Freeman to said board, with a term to expire January 15, 2019.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Weld County Commissioner Mike Freeman be, and hereby is, reappointed
to the Federal Mineral Lease District Board of Directors, with a term to expire January 15, 2019.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 11th day of January, A.D., 2016.
