Sand and Gravel Mine
To whom it may concern:
This letter is to inform you of changes being requested regarding a Division of
Reclamation and Mine Safety Regular 112 Permit Amendment (M2001-022).
Specifically, the operator, Loveland Ready Mix, Inc. (LRM), is applying for an
amendment to change the final use of the Green/ Croissant Sand and Gravel Mine. No
other changes are anticipated at this time.
The majority of the site will remain agricultural and wildlife habitat as an end use after
reclamation. These portions will maintain the approved permit guidelines. LRM would
like to change a small portion of the reclamation to enable the continuation of business
after reclamation is complete. LRM wishes to stay on site and continue conducting
business as they are now. This will require that the existing batch plant, gravel plant, fuel
storage, scales and truck washout remain after permitted mine is depleted and reclaimed.
One mining cell approved as a wildlife pond will be filled and used for processing of
recycled concrete product. Once reclamation is completed, materials will no longer be
extracted from the site. Some materials are currently being imported and will continue to
be imported to operate the batch plant. The importation of materials is already approved
in the existing permits and will only increase as allowed by these permits. Loveland
Ready Mix, Inc. would like to continue to be productive members of Weld County and
support the growth of Weld County and surrounding areas.

FOR COLORADO MINED LAND RECLAMATION PERMIT AMENDMENT
FOR REGULAR(112) CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS EXTRACTION OPERATION
NOTICE TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
Weld COUNTY
Loveland Ready Mix Concrete,Inc. (the "Applicant/Operator")has applied for a Regular(112)reclamation
permit from the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board(the"Board")to conduct the extraction of construction materials
operations in Weld County. The attached information is being provided to notify you of the
location and nature of the proposed operation. The entire application is on file with the Division of Reclamation,Mining,and
Safety (the "Division") and the local county clerk and recorder.
The applicant/operator proposes to reclaim the affected land to Concrete batch plant and associated materials use. Pursuant to
Section 34-32.5-116(4)(m),C.R.S.,the Board may confer with the local Board of County Commissioners before approving of
the post-mining land use. Accordingly,the Board would appreciate your comments on the proposed operation. Please note
that,in order to preserve your right to a hearing before the Board on this application,you must submit written comments on the
application within twenty(20) days of the date of last publication of notice pursuant to Section 34-32.5-112(10), C.R.S.

and telephone number are P . O. Box 299, Loveland, CO 80539-0229; (970)-667-2680, submitted
a request for partial acreage release for the Green/Croissant Property Sand and Gravel Mine,
Permit No . M-2001 -022 . The construction materials extraction operation is located at or near
Section 30, Township 5N, Range 67W, 6th Principle Meridian, in Weld County.
Written comments or objections to the release may be submitted to, and additional information
obtained from, the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 ,
