RESOLUTION
RE: ACCEPTANCE OF DAVIS ROAD, LOCATED IN THE SANDY KNOLLS
SUBDIVISION, INTO THE COUNTY ROAD SYSTEM FOR MAINTENANCE.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Davis Road is located in the Sandy Knolls Subdivi-
sion, located in Weld County, Colorado, being described as Sandy
Knolls Estates, 2nd filing, being a subdivision located in the
Southeast Quarter (SEQ) of Section 20, Township 5 North, Range
64 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, said Davis Road, upon inspection by the Engineering
Department of Weld County, Colorado, there are no apparent de-
ficiencies, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Engineering of Weld County has
recommended that Weld County accept Davis Road for full main-
tenance and be added to the County Road System.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that Davis Road, located in
the Sandy Knolls Subdivision, be, and hereby is, added to the
County Road System for maintenance.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 31st day of
July, A.D. , 1978.

Dear Mr. Hoff:
This is to advise you that while the Engineering Department
was viewing Davis Road recently, they found that the owner
of Lot 7, Block 1 has landscaped area in the county's right
of way.
The county does reserve the right of way and if in the
future, cork needs to be done in this area, it nay be
necessary to rerrove the landscaping work.

subject: Sandy Knolls Subdivision ( Robert Hoff)
I see no problems in going ahead the way we had previously
discussed .
The owner of Lot 7 Block 1 has landscaped the right-of-way
on Davis Street as shown on the attached picture . I see
no problems with this as long as said owner knows that
the county can remove trees , rock , etc . if it becomes
necessary to expand Davis Sreet and/or repair it .

RE: Sandy Knolls Subdivision Bond
Dear Bob:
Pursuant to your meeting with the Board of Weld County Commissioners on
July 24, 1978, we find that the Board agrees to the following stipulations:
The Subdivision Bond dated 1-8-73 shall be continued in effect by
Bob Hoff until such time as ownership of Lots 3 and 4, Block 2,
Second Filing, Sandy Knolls, is determined.
1. If ownership is determined not to rest with Bob Hoff, the
construction of Sandy Knolls Place shall not be required to
be completed by Bob Hoff, and the Subdivision Bond will be
released.
2. By April 1, 1979, if ownership of the above-referenced lots
is determined to rest with Bob Hoff, then he shall continue
the Subdivision Bond and supply Weld County with an expected
completion date for Sandy Knolls Place.
The Board asks that you return a signed copy of this letter to the Office
of the Board, as agreement to the included stipulations. A copy is enclosed
for your records.
We appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.

Dear Mr. Hoff:
Weld County is holding a subdivision bond on property listed as follows:
Sandy Knolls 64-5-20, 2nd Filing -- dated 1/8/73, in the amount
of $5,000.
The bond was to guarantee completion of street and/or subdivision
improvements. It is my understanding that a letter was sent to
the subdivider of this property in July of 1977, stating that
roads in the subdivision were not acceptable to the County.
The County requests a reply from you as to the status of the improve-
ments covered by the bond. We would like to schedule an inspection
of those improvements which have been completed to-date; if the
improvements are acceptable, the County will release the bond. Please
list a revised completion date for improvements which have not been
completed.
We thank you for your attention to this matter. We would appreciate
a reply within the month of July.
