Attached is a bid tabulation and supporting documents for the 2015 Steel Bid. The recommendations for
award per category are as follows:
Corrugated Metal Pipe
Recommend the low bid submitted by Contech Engineered Solutions for both round and arch pipe be
approved and awarded.
Corrugated Plastic Pipe
Recommend the sole bid submitted by DBE Manufacturing for all plastic pipe be approved and awarded.
MISCELLANEOUS STEEL PRODUCTS/PRECAST CONCRETE PRODUCTS
Beam Sections (Stringers)
Recommend the sole bid submitted by Norfolk Iron be approved and awarded.
Steel Piling
Recommend the low bid from DBE Manufacturing be accepted and awarded.
Steel Angles
Recommend the sole bid from Norfolk Iron be accepted and awarded.
Black Pipe, Tubing
Recommend the sole bid submitted by Norfolk Iron be approved and awarded for black pipe and tubing.
Flat Plate
Recommend the sole bid submitted by Norfolk Iron be approved and awarded.

No bids were received for this item. In 2015, Big R Bridge was the sole bidder on this item. We have obtained
a current price quote from Big R Bridge of$12.33 per linear foot which is the same as their 2015 bid price. We
recommend this item be awarded to Big R Bridge. Please see the attached.

Recommend the sole bid submitted by DBE Manufacturing be approved and awarded.

Price quote from Big R that we didn't receive a bid on from any of the venders on the steel bid. The price quoted of
$12.33 per linier ft is the same price that we had from Big Ron last year's steel bid, When we do steel bid
