Subject: Surplus Radio Distribution/CE 7897
Concerning your letter of October 16, 1979, the Board
appreciates your assistance in implementing the Board's
resolution directing transfer of the radios to county fire
departments.
I have checked on the radio, Serial #CE 7897, which was listed
as assigned to your department, but was not in your possession
at the time of the radio distribution. The Communications
Department has verified that this radio was placed in an
ambulance originally assigned to the Pierce Ambulance Department
but now located in Greeley, and that the radio is, in fact, in
that ambulance.
The Board will amend its resolution adopted 9/19/79 to reflect
that only one (1) radio will be transferred to the Southeast
Weld Fire District, rather than the two (2) originally planned.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused by
this oversight.

Re: Surplus Radio Distribution
Dear Chairman Carlson:
This is to advise you that your letter of 11 OCTOBER 1979, same subject
was complied with on 14 OCTOBER 79 and, with one exception, the radios
are in the possession of Cooper Communications.
The one radio listed in your memo, Serial #CE7897 is not in the possession
or control of the Weld County Sheriff's Department.
Since ely,
