As stated in C.F.R. 679.410, a local workforce development board may act as a provider of career services only with the agreement of the chief elected official in the local area and the Governor. Further, the CWDC is authorized to act on behalf of the Governor for the implementation of requirements of WIOA through Executive Order B 2015 007. Based upon the review of the information submitted to the CWDC, your request is approved. This approval is effective immediately and is subject to review upon any of the following occurrences: a) Changes to the makeup of the Weld County Workforce Development Area; b) Failure of the Weld County Local Workforce Area to attain subsequent designation; c) Failure of the Weld County Workforce Development Board to attain certification in 2018 or decertification of the board at any time; d) Missing the same performance standard in the Adult or Dislocated Worker program in two consecutive program years; and e) Changes to federal law or regulations.
