Box 758 Greeley CO 80631 RE: Account Wes R3392086, 83917486, R3914486 Board Members: We are appealing the reclassification of the above mentioned properties from residential and agricultural zoning to commercial zoning. All of these parcels are owned by Still Farm, LLC. One of the parcels contains three residential real estate properties which are rental units. The remainder of the properties are agricultural land with a lake on the property. The lower parcels and the lake area are in the flood zone. This land has been reclassified by the Weld County Assessor to commercial as of June 30, 2016. There is no commercial use of this property, and there are no revenues generated from these parcels other than the residential rental units. When the properties were purchased in 2003 it was made clear to us by staff at Weld County that the LLC would not be able to allow use of the properties by any person, persons, businesses or clubs for any recreational purposes. We have strictly adhered to that and have never held any type of commercial event, leased any of the property for hunting, fishing, water recreation or any other type of use. The only use of the property is by those individuals who have direct ownership in the LLC that holds the property. This is not a leased lake situation as you will find with other similar properties in Weld County. We respectfully request that these three parcels be reclassified back to their original agricultural and residential classifications. Thank you.
