RE : IN THE MATTER OF WORKING HOURS FOR ALL ELECTED
OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES OF WELD COUNTY OFFICED
IN THE WELD COUNTY CENTENNIAL CENTER AND PRO-
VIDING FOR REDUCTION IN PAY FOR NON-COMPLIANCE.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, are vested with the authority of
determining policy and managing the affairs of Weld
County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, by
Resolution dated August 4 , 1976 , set the office hours
of the Weld County Centennial Center for the transaction
of business with the general public as commencing at
8 : 00 A.M. and ending at 5: 00 P.M. during each working
day. Said Resolution further provided that all employees
shall take a one hour lunch break, which lunch period
shall be staggered by department heads so as to provide
a continuity of service to the public by each department
of county government through the normal lunch hour.
Said Resolution further provided for one fifteen minute
coffee break in the fore noon and one fifteen minute
coffee break in the afternoon for each employee of Weld
County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Board
of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that
certain employees and/or departments are not complying
with the terms of the Resolution of August 4 , 1976 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that all
employees who are not on duty for the transaction of
business with the general public between 8 : 00 A.M. and
5: 00 P.M. during each working day (noon hours and coffee
breaks excepted) shall be charged with a reduction in pay
for the time that said non-complying offices shall be
closed.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, by motion
duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote
on this 15th day of September , A.D. , 1976.
