Landscaping Proposal

LANDSCAPING
• The fenced lot will consist of roadways of at least 22' throughout, and back in and pull through
RV parking rows, which are orderly and neatly marked.
• All signage and landscaping will be kept at ground level due to collision risk. There are not a lot
of available places for landscaping opportunities within the lot, due to the nature of the
business (collision risk), so the majority of the landscaping will be along County Road 6, along
the access road, at the entrance, at the gate by the keypad, and in front of the buildings. There
will be small areas on the inside of the entrance gate and at the entrance to Lot 6 as well.
• There will be at least a 10' Landscaping setback abutting the County Road 6 ROW on both Lot 6
and Lot 9. This area will be mowed to keep it looking nice from County Road 6.
• The access road will be lined on both sides with privacy fencing, which buffers the parking area
from view from the roadway by the fencing. This metal fencing always looks nice and requires
little maintenance.
• The parking area in front of the building has parking blocks and recycled asphalt walkway.
• The proposed landscaping plan consists mostly of non -living inorganic materials, due to the
non growing nature of the soil (mine tailings) and collision risk in the yard for any objects above
ground level.
• Decorative rock will be used in the corners near the keypad, road signage and along the entire
fence that borders the access road on the east boundary of Lot 6, just inside the gate and at the
entrance to Lot 6 as shown in light green on the map.
• All crushed asphalt or gravel surface and roadways will be maintained throughout the property.
• Maintenance consists of mowing, yearly weed spraying, regular ground maintenance of the lots,
and regular trash pickup.
