CCWCD is the only entity in Colorado to receive funding. The funds will be used to complete Phase 1 of the Northeast Colorado Walker Recharge Project and will provide a direct benefit to many CCWCD constituents through greater and more efficient groundwater use. Many small communities in Colorado depend directly on the success of individual agricultural producers to sustain their local economies.
