Dear Mr. Dunbar:
The Board of Trustees of the Greeley Public Library and the Weld County
Library accept the charge of the City Council of Greeley and the Weld
County Commissioners to do a joint analysis of library services and
holdings and to study the feasibility of some type of merger of the two
libraries. Anticipated completion date of the study is January 1, 1979.
Barbara Tooker, High Plains Regional Library System, Esther Fromm,
Greeley Public Library, and Elizabeth Bowers of Weld County Library
will set up procedures and guidelines for the study to be ,approved by
both boards.
Both boards recommend that library services should be maintained for
the present in the existing locations.
