Gentlemen:
:enclosed please find a Resolution passed by
the hoard of Trustees of the Town of Erie
at their regular meeting held on 7/23/79.
The Resolution is in support of the satellite
office of Youth Services Lureau in Southern
Vield County.

IN SUPPORT OF THE SATELLITE OFFICE OF YOUTH
SERVICE EUREiU IN SOUTHERN WELD COUNTY:
;IE.EIi.;AS, the Weld County Commissioners
rare considering removal of the satellite office of
:youth Service Bureau in southern :1eld County and
WHEREAS, the Town of Brie as well as the
other towns in southern Weld County have been sucess-
fully utilizing the satellite office because it has
been more effective in the outlying rural areas than
Social Services administered out of Greeley, and
WHEREAS, there is a definite increasing
need for the satellite office in Ft. Lupton due to
population growth and transportations problems
NOW, THEREFORE, TA-1, IC RESOLIED BY THE
PO RD OF TRUSTE-Z OF THE TOWN OF ER Li;i; THAT:
1.• The Town of Erie is in complete
suppor•L of retaining the Youth Service Bureau
counselor in .Fort Lupton.
2. The Town of Erie requests that Weld
County Commissioners do not remove the satellite
office of Youth Service Bureau in southern Weld
County.
APPROVED, and passed by a vote as
follows: 6 Yes, O No; this 23rd day of July,
1979.
