RE: CANCELLATION OF TAXES ON A CERTAIN MOBILE HOME
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 39-10-114(2)(a), C.R.S., the Board of County
Commissioners may cancel any taxes levied on personal property which are determined to be
uncollectible after a period of one year after the date of becoming delinquent, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from the office of the Weld County
Treasurer to cancel the taxes on a mobile home, which are listed in the letter from John
Lefebvre, dated June 16, 2017, which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A," for the reasons stated
therein, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to cancel the mobile home taxes
listed in Exhibit "A".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Weld County Treasurer's request to cancel the mobile home
taxes listed in Exhibit "A" be, and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 26th day of June, A.D., 2017.

As the Weld County Treasurer, State of Colorado, I re . uest authorization by resolution to write off the
taxes related to this account pursuant to CRS
The reason for this request is as follows: This mobile home is gone. After the new owners of the real
property purchased the land, they informed the Assessor's Office there was no mobile home on the
property. Bethany in the planning department confirmed there are no mobile home located at this site.
Therefore, these taxes are non -collectable.
The assessor's office has removed this mobile home account from the tax roll for 2017.
