RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT TO BOARD OF PUBLIC HEALTH
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Board of Public Health, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to appoint
Sandra Owens to said Board of Public Health as the District 3 representative, with a term to expire
May 23, 2018.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Sandra Owens be, and hereby is, appointed to the Board of Public Health,
with a term to expire May 23, 2018.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 19th day of July, A.D., 2017.
