RE: WELD COUNTY AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF WELD COUNTY HUMAN
RESOURCES DEPARTMENT - HEAD START PROGRAM, AND WELD
COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT RE-4.
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that it would be in the
best interests of the County to enter into an agreement for
the use and benefit of the Weld County Human Resources
Department - Head Start Program to lease certain classroom
space, without charge , for Head Start Children from the Weld
County School District RE-4 , and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board to enter into an
agreement with Weld County School District RE-4, to establish
the use of certain classroom premises located in School
District RE-4, Middle School at Windsor, Colorado, tor the use
and benefit of the Weld County Department of Human Resources -
Head Start Program, on the terms and conditions as recited in
the attached agreement.
NOW, WHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the County of Weld,
State of Colorado, be authorized to enter into the agreement
attached hereto for the use and benefit of the Weld County
Human Resources Department -- Head Start Program all as recited
and set forth in the attached agreement.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly
made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 4th_
day of O tober A.D. , 1976.

AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 4th day
of ____ ccioher 1976 , by and between WELD COUNTY, STATE OF
COLORADO, by the Weld County Board of County Commissioners ,
(hereinafter called County) , for the use and benefit of the
Weld County Department of Human Resources - Head Start Program,
and Weld County SCHOOL DISTRICT RE-4 , (hereinafter called
School District) .
WI'CNESSETH_
That for and in consideration of the covenants and agree-
ments herein agreed to be kept and performed, School District
hereby leases and agrees to provide unto County the Following
described premises and services upon the following terms and
contitions :
1 . School District agrees to provide classroom space with-
out charge to the Middle School , Windsor, Colorado For
one Head. Start session contingent upon School District ' s
state requirements .
2 . School District agrees to provide bus transportation
for Head Start children on its regular route within the Dis-
trict at a charge of Sixty Dollars ($60 . 00) per child per
school year, subject to approval of School District .
3 . School District agrees to provide "class A" hot
lunches for the Head Start classroom at a price of forty-five
cents ($ . 45) per child, and sixty cents ($ . 60) per adult.
School District will submit a bill for such services to
County by the 10th of the month for the preceding month.
School District agrees to provide information on the cost and
quantity of lunches served to enable the Head Start Program
to comply with U.S . D.A. reimbursement requirements .
4 . County agrees to provide custodial care [or the class-
room occupied by Head Start children on a daily basis at a
cost to be borne by County.
5 . County agrees to provide telephone service for the
Head Start staff .
6 . County agrees to pay the hereinabove mentioned
agreed price for all meals served to Head Start children and
staff, and such reimbursement will be made within two weeks
of the receipt of a statement of such charges from School
District.
7 . County agrees that it will throughout the term
of this agreement comply with the rules and regulations of
School District in effect from time to time as they may
affect dead Start children.
8 . It is mutually agreed that this agreement may be
cancelled by one party giving the other party at least thirty
(30) days written notice of its intention to do so.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF , the parties hereunto have caused
this agreement to be duly executed in duplicate, as of the
day and year first hereinabove set forth.
