SUBJECT: 2017 Material Hauling, Bid B1700028
Section 5-4-30 of County Code requires that our bid specifications be written in such a manner as to invite and
encourage open and competitive bidding for County purchases. Due to apparent limited bid participation for
our hauling contract, we are asking the Board to allow us time to review and modify, if necessary, our bid
specifications for this service so that we may encourage greater participation in the bidding process.
The Public Works Department recommends the Board reject all bid offers for Bid B1700028, Material Hauling.
