RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO WORKFORCE
DEVELOPMENT BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Workforce Development Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Bonnie Babcock be appointed as the
Business Transportation representative, with a term to expire December 31, 2020; and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that that that Peggy Decker be reappointed as
the Healthcare representative, that Dwight Steele, be reappointed as Workforce representative,
that Elise Lowe -Vaughn be reappointed as a Department of Labor and Employment
representative, that Alvaro Maldonado be reappointed as a Community Based - -
Veterans/Disability representative, and that Stacy Evans, be reappointed as the Vocational
Rehabilitation representative, to the Workforce Development Board, all with terms to expire on
December 31, 2020.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the aforementioned persons be, and hereby are, appointed and
reappointed to these positions as representatives on the Workforce Development Board, with
their respective terms to expire as described above.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 27th day of December, A.D., 2017.
