RESOLUTION RE: CANCELLATION OF TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATE (TS CERT 2007-0902) FOR PARCEL #0961-06-4-29-025, ALL BUT ONE DOLLAR WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board has received one (1) Tax Lien Sale Certificate (TS CERT 2007- 0902) for parcel #0961-06-4-29-025, from the Weld County Treasurer, and WHEREAS, the facts as set forth on the Certificate of Cancellation, marked Exhibit A, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to cancel all but One Dollar ($1.00) of the Tax Lien Certificate, for the purposes of processing and issuing a Treasurer's Deed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Tax Lien Sale Certificate (TS CERT 2007-0902), on parcel #0961-06-4- 29-025, be, and hereby is, cancelled with the exception of One Dollar ($1.00), which shall remain so that the Tax Lien may remain active, and for the purposes of processing and issuing a Treasurer's Deed. The adjacent property owner Cruz Villanueva has agreed to apply for a Treasurer's Deed to obtain ownership and maintain the parcel. The City of Greeley has agreed to cancel all special assessments placed on the property in the amount of $573.61.
