RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO HUMAN SERVICES ADVISORY COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Human Services Advisory Commission, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to appoint
Debbie Drew and Adam Turk as Designees, both with terms to expire December 31, 2018, and
Elizabeth Barber, as a Designee with a term to expire December 31, 2020, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Ryan Gray be appointed as a Private Sector
representative, with a term to expire December 31, 2018, and that Stanley Graffis and Lucas
McConnell be appointed to said board to the Private Sector representatives, with terms to expire
December 31, 2020, and that and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Jodi Hartmann, Enita Kearns-Hout, Tom
Teixeira, and Melanie Falvo be appointed to said board as Low -Income Representatives, all with
terms to expire December 31, 2020.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Debbie Drew, Elizabeth Barber, Adam Turk, Ryan Gray, Stanley Graffis,
Lucas McConnell, Jodi Hartmann, Enita Kearns-Hout, Tom Teixeira, and Melanie Falvo be, and
hereby are, appointed to the Human Services Advisory Commission, with terms to expire as
stated above.
