RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT TO FAMILIES, YOUTH, AND CHILDREN COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Families, Youth and Children Commission,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Adam Turk be appointed to said Families,
Youth and Children Commission as the Law Enforcement representative to fill the vacancy of
Lawrence Raimer, with a term to expire December 31, 2019.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Adam Turk be, and hereby is, appointed to the Families, Youth and
Children Commission, with a term to expire December 31, 2019.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 26th day of April, A.D., 2017.
