RE: ESTABLISH CHANGE FUND AT WELD COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request that a Change Fund, in the amount of
$200.00 for two (2) Civil Office Technicians, be established for the Weld County Sheriff's Office,
and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Administration and the Controller have
recommended approval of said request, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, deems it
advisable and in the best interests of Weld County to approve said request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Controller, be, and hereby is, authorized to establish a Change Fund
for the Weld County Sheriff's Office, in the amount of $200.00 for two (2) Civil Office Technicians.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 11th day of October, A.D., 2017.

Barb,
We are planning to have the Civil Unit take their own paperwork, and payments. We will need
petty cash for the both Civil Office Technicians to make change for the customers. We are
requesting $100.00 for each, to start off, and if we need more we will notify you. If you have any
