RE: APPROVE DISSOLUTION OF WELD COUNTY ARROWHEAD AVENUE LOCAL
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1993-1
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, by
Resolution #930073, created the Weld County Arrowhead Local Improvement District No. 1993-1,
and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Director of Finance and Administration has informed the
Board of Weld County Commissioners the local improvements specified in the preliminary order
referred to in Section 30-20-603(5), C.R.S., and specified in the resolution authorizing the
improvements have been completed and all debt incurred has been paid, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, by
Resolution on February 18, 2004, released all assessment liens for property owners in Weld
County Arrowhead Local Improvement District No. 1993-1, and
WHEREAS, in accordance Section 30-20-627, C.R.S., when the local improvements
specified in the preliminary order referred to in Section 30-20-603(5), C.R.S., and specified in the
Resolution authorizing the improvements have been completed and all debt incurred or bonds
issued have been paid, the Board shall take all steps necessary to dissolve the District and, upon
completion of such steps, shall declare, by Resolution, that the District is dissolved, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Administration is recommending, in accordance
Section 30-20-627 C.R.S., that the Weld County Arrowhead Local Improvement District
No. 1993-1 be dissolved by Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Weld County Commissioners
that, in accordance with Section 30-20-627, C.R.S., the Weld County Arrowhead Local
Improvement District No. 1993-1 be, and hereby is, dissolved by Resolution.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Director of Finance and Administration shall provide
the Colorado Department of Local Affairs a copy of this Resolution officially dissolving the Weld
County Arrowhead Local Improvement District No. 1993-1.
