Gentlemen:
As you will recall, the decision on acceptance of the metal toilet partition
bid from Simpson & Simpson Sales & Service Inc. was tabled in order to allow
us to obtain a price for ceiling hung partitions.
We respectfully submit the new price of $5,638.00 as an alternate bid to the
-4-$2,829.00 originally submitted by Simpson & Simpson Sales & Service Inc. This
new ,:rice consists of $3,288.00 for the new style of toilet partitions as
shown on the attached quotation from oimpson & Simpson. The remainder of the
price ($2,350.00) is for structural iron supports placed above the sheet rock
ceiling to carry the weight of the partitions.
As you can see, to go from floor mounted partitions to ceiling hung partitions
would cause an increase in cost of $2,809.00. We are submitting the alternate
bid at this time so that it can be discussed and/or voted on at the Weld County
Commissioners next regular scheduled meeting. If you have any questions on
this quotation or would like to niscu,;s it, we would be most happy to meet with
