RE: Vocational Assessment RFP — B1700036
Upon review of the two bids submitted through the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for
Vocational Assessments with the Department of Human Services (DHS), we recommend
accepting both bids and entering into contracts with both vendors, North Range Behavioral
Health and Transitions Psychology Group, LLC. Using both vendors will ensure access and
opportunity for DHS eligible recipients to receive appropriate services. We will utilize an initial
review period, beginning with fully executed contracts through June 30, 2018 to evaluate
performance and effectiveness of both vendors and provide recommendations which may
include an additional RFP in 2018.
North Range Behavioral Health (NRBH):
• Physical locations in Greeley and Ft. Lupton.
• Medicaid eligible provider and a strong mental health community partner.
• Participants already receiving services through NRBH, will benefit from the continuity of
service.
• Non -licensed Vocational Specialists work in collaboration with a Mental Health
Professional to perform Vocational Assessments at $110 per assessment.
• A written report is provided within four business days of assessment.
Transitions Psychology Group, LLC:
• Long-term presence in the Greeley area but lacks a presence in South County.
• Medicaid eligible provider.
• Demonstrated skill and experience performing Vocational Assessments for DHS
participants.
• Vocational Assessments are conducted by Master's or Doctoral level therapists at $125
per assessment.
• A written report is provided within two working days of assessment.

**The initial contract period shall commence on approximately April 1, 2017, so long as
both parties are satisfied. The agreement will be for a period of three years. However,
the agreement must be renewed by both parties, in writing, on an annual basis.
The bids are being reviewed by Human Services Dept at this time.
