RE: APPROVE CANCELLATION OF TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATES (TS CERT 2003-
0662 AND 2005-0339) FOR PARCEL #0961-06-4-29-025
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 39-11-120, C.R.S., the Board has received the request
for cancellation of two (2) Tax Lien Sale Certificates (TS CERT 2003-0662 and 2005-0339) for
parcel #0961-06-4-29-025, from the Weld County Treasurer, and
WHEREAS, the facts as set forth on the Certificates of Cancellation, marked Exhibit A to
each cancellation respectively, copies of which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference, require the cancellation of TS CERTS 2003-0662 and 2005-0339, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said cancellation of the
Tax Lien Sale Certificates (TS CERT 2003-0662 and 2005-0339).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the cancellation of the Tax Lien Sale Certificates (TS CERT 2003-0662)
and 2005-0339), on parcel #0961-06-4-29-025, by the Weld County Treasurer, be, and hereby is,
approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 6th day of September, A.D., 2017.

As the Weld County Treasurer, State of Colorado, I request authorization by resolution to cancel the Tax Lien Sale
Certificate number 2003-0662 pursuant to CRS l"39-1'1-120".!
According to the Treasurer's Tax Sale Records this property went to tax sale on NOVEMBER 6, 2003 due to
unpaid property taxes and Special Assessment for the tax year of 2002 .
Reason for this request is as follows: A Treasurer's Deed was issued on August 28, 2017 on Tax
Sale Certificate of Purchase #2007-0902. Mary Myers was notified that a deed had been
requested and chose not to take further action to protect her senior tax lien certificate 20030662.
With the issuance of the deed, C.R.S.§39-11-120 allows any older/senior liens to be cancelled.
