RE: APPROVE REAPPOINTMENTS TO WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the terms for certain positions on the Workforce Development Board will soon
expire, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to reappoint
David Thompson as a Small Business representative, Richard Werner as an Economic
Development representative (Community representative), Susan Ditson as a Small Business
representative, Peter Freeman as a Large Business representative, and Richard Byrne as a Labor
Organization representative to said Workforce Development Board, all with terms to expire
December 31, 2019.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that David Thompson, Richard Werner, Susan Ditson, Peter Freeman, and
Richard Byrne be, and hereby are, reappointed to the Workforce Development Board, all with
terms to expire December 31, 2019.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 18th day of January, A.D., 2017.
