Commissioners and Bruce: I would like to propose that the standard Small Tract Oil and Gas Leases be eligible for listing on the Consent Agenda under Miscellaneous (similar to Division Orders, and Consent to Assignments — see language below). They would be exempt from a Resolution, the Chair would be authorized to sign, the Leases would still be recorded, and the Board could always pull a parcel off of Consent if they wished to make special provisions. Section 2-1-120.D. The Chair of the Board is delegated authority to approve and sign all oil and gas division orders and authorizations to receive oil or gas payment, after review by the County Attorney's office for correctness of ownership interest, form and legal description. Please advise whether you "Concur", or respond with direction to continue current process of drafting Resolutions and calling them all up in the regular Board meeting for a formal vote. If this is the desire of the Board, I will work on drafting an Ordinance Amendment. NOTE: There are 31 small tract leases pending consideration on 8/7/17. Thank you, Esther E. I was wondering about your thoughts on putting all of these on "Consent Agenda," as they are all in the same S/T/R — Town of Keenesburg? I am not sure what qualifies under that, but it would then not make the BOCC read each description into the record. I would like to have them on the August 7th Agenda, if ok with you. Steph wanted to avoid the 9th due to Show Cause and another Hearing. Let me know and we will get these taken care of. Thank you!
