RE: APPOINTMENT OF AMANDA PETZOLD AS DEPUTY CLERK TO THE BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Karla Ford has been promoted to fill the vacancy left by Jennifer Fuller,
therefore, a need exists to appoint another Deputy Clerk to the Board, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3-7 of the Weld County Home Rule Charter, it is the
desire of the Board to appoint Amanda Petzold as Deputy Clerk to the Board and to discontinue
the appointment of Jennifer Fuller.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Amanda Petzold be, and hereby is, appointed Deputy Clerk to the Board,
effective February 6, 2017.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board, that the appointment of Jennifer Fuller, be,
and hereby is, discontinued.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 13th day of February, A.D., 2017, nunc pro tunc February 6, 2017.
