The bid B1700085 was received and opened on April 14, 2017 for twenty five (25)
Panasonic CF -31 Toughbooks. The six (6) bids received have been reviewed by PSIT
staff. The bids ranged from $111,350.00 to $168,950.00 in total costs. Attached is the
bid tabulation for your information.
The Public Safety Information Technology staff have reviewed the bid responses. One
response from Adorama, Inc. in New York, NY was disqualified for not meeting warranty
requirements. Of the five remaining vendors, four were from outside the state and one
vendor was local. All vendors provided bids on 25 Panasonic's Toughbook CF -31 Elite
XL CF-3113-05KM package. This was the package that best meets the Weld County
Sheriff's business practices. New Tech Solutions, Inc. from Fremont, CA submitted the
low bid.
Based on our review and the above information, I recommend the board award
B1700085 to New Tech Solutions, Inc. for a total amount of $111,350.00.
