Box 25267 Denver, CO 80225-0267 FEMA RE: Community Assistance Visit Dear Chairwoman Cozad: A Community Assistance Visit (CAV) was conducted on April 11, 2017 with Diana Aungst and other staff to discuss Weld County's participation in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and/or the Colorado Water Conservation Board conducts these visits to maintain periodic contact with communities participating in the NFIP, to assess the effectiveness of a community's implementation of its floodplain management regulations, and to provide technical assistance. No deficiencies or violations were noted during the visit and Weld County remains in good standing with the NFIP. I would like to thank Diana for her time during the meeting. This letter officially closes the CAV. Should you have any questions regarding the CAV or NFIP, please contact me at 303-235-4730 or matthew.buddie@fema.dhs.gov. cc: Stephanie DiBetitto, State Coordinator Diana Aungst, Floodplain Administrator COMor, ; co,4 O f1$ St3l l k--1 Matthew Buddie Natural Hazard Program Specialist cc : PLCT MCYV OCt) Coy -COL i I ) 0Q1'N C ct- t t /( www.fema.gov www.fema.gov 2017-1625 rnoO1,7 Hello
