Each employee shall be "responsible vendor" trained, and the Licensee shall provide documentary evidence that each employee has been "responsible vendor" trained to the Weld County Sheriff's Office within thirty (30) days of the first available "responsible vendor" class after hiring. Evidence of such shall be included in the referral report submitted by the Sheriff's Office at the time of annual renewal. Previous conversations with Elizabeth Penny Person (held in 2008), owner of Colorado Cattle Company, led to the determination that her facility falls under the bed and breakfast exemption and thus does not require a retail food establishment license. I confirmed this was still the case through a review of their website. A search of the address in our complaint database did not reveal any complaints that had been filed against the facility. Based on the above information the Department does not have any concerns at this time with this facility.
