Dear Ms. Redfern:
This letter is to confirm your award of Title XX dollars for SFY 2018. Weld County is being awarded $3,200.00 for:
• Training on Mental Health Disorders: Three trainings -53,200
The bellow training requests were denied based on the following information:
• Sex Offender Treatment: The Child Welfare Training System is currently in the process of developing new trainings
related to this topic.
• International Conference on Innovations in Family Engagement: CDHS supported scholarships to this conference
through the Kempe Center and multiple individuals from Weld County were awarded scholarships.
When you report expenditures to CFMS, you will be reimbursed 80% of your expenditure, which means that you will receive a
maximum reimbursement of $2,560.00. The remaining 201' reflects the required matching funds for the grant, which
demonstrates your county's contribution.
Procedure: In order to access these training funds, you need to use the CFMS Codes, which is FUNCTION CODE 1290 in
conjunction with PROGRAM CODE X325. Your Business Office should be able to assist you with this.
All reimbursement claims must be completed by Friday, April 22, 2018. Reimbursement claims for Program Code X325 must
be entered in CFMS by the cut-off date of May 2, 2018, for October 2017 -April 2018 entries. The Division of Child Welfare
will not reimburse any entries received or entered into the CFMS system after May 2, 2018, unless a request to extend this
deadline has been approved by the Child Welfare Training Manager. Over expenditure of allocated amount will not be
reimbursed.
