COMMISSIONERS
On behalf Board of Directors, staff, and the individuals/children receiving services at A
Woman's Place, we wanted you to know your monetary gift of $3,250.00 is helping to shelter
and provide for those who need a safe place. Your partnership is a valued asset, and your
continued support enables A Woman's Place to fulfill its mission "to shelter and help empower
victims/survivors of domestic violence to become safe, secure and self-reliant; and through
education and collaboration, to mobilize our community to help prevent domestic violence."
At A Woman's Place, our clients receive a variety of services including safety planning,
counseling, legal advocacy, open childcare sessions, parenting resources, youth support groups,
weekly family activities, parenting education, job skills, and life skills training. The individuals
and children have a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring that they can work through their
trauma while envisioning a bright future. For more information on how your donation is helping
to make a difference in the lives of so many in our community, we invite you to visit our website
for more insight on our journey at www.awpdv.org or follow us on Facebook at
