The IGA expires on July 27`h. This IGA is reviewed annually to determine if both parties wish to continue the agreement and to review any associated PSIT support costs. With Firestone PD becoming the first agency to take advantage of this system, estimates were made for hours of support for the year. We found the estimates were high. The IGA provided an initial cost for a number of hours of support with the provisions Weld County would bill Firestone if the Police Department went over the estimated hours or if the hours were not used the funds left over will be transferred to the next year. There are left over funds to be forwarded to 2018. This document has been reviewed by the County Attorney's office. What options exist for the Board? (Include consequences, impacts, costs, etc. of options) This IGA has no negative consequences, impacts or costs for Weld County. The funds carried over will cover PSIT costs.
